Thankful Day 7

Today I am thankful for technology.  Because of all the neat gadgets and programs it is much easier to stay in touch with friends and family near and far.  If someone had told me when I was 10 that I would be able to use a program like Skype to talk and see someone who was thousands of miles away it would have blown my mind.  That's Star Trek, not reality!  Smart phones are basically a mini computer you can carry with you at all times and I'm not ashamed to admit I love my iPhone.  You can talk, take pictures, get on the internet, play games, use other apps, listen to music, take and watch videos and so much more.  It's amazing when you think about how far technology has come so quickly.  I'm thankful I can take advantage of these many uses.  Especially this evening when I got to Skype with a friend who moved away earlier this year.  I also wouldn't have this blog without technology, and I'm extremely thankful for it (and those of you who read it).  Also, we would not have memes, which usually brighten my day.  Thank you internets.
